Amethyst - handspun wool yarn

Washed, picked, carded, handspun and dyed by Fiberdog Fibers.

When I first saw the fleece that this yarn is made of, I immediately fell in love with the natural color. I sneaked around the fleece a couple of times until my husband finally said "You really want it, just get it." So I did!

After processing the wool and spinning it into yarn, I dyed this batch in the wonderful deep purple you see in the picture.

This is a rustic yarn with some texture and still a little bit of lanolin in it.

I am sure anything you'll make with this yarn will end up being truly special and unique.
