Strawberry ice-cream - handdyed spinning fiber

Washed, picked, carded and dyed by Fiberdog Fibers.

This fiber braid reminds me of one of the great joys in summer: strawberry ice-cream. Various shades of pink within the braid will create a lovely overall pink yarn with lots of color depth to it.

Romney is easy to spin and one of the sheep breeds I highly recommend for new spinners. To this day it is one of my favorite wools to spin!

As always this product started in my studio as a raw fleece which I then processed by hand for you.
I've included a picture of the fleece the way I got it, so you can also enjoy the transformation from fleece to fiber ready for spinning.
